jdm fans, spoon changed their honda wheels

well, they've added a sticker, they're still regameisters (sp?) but the 'real' ones have the yellow decal http://www.inlinefour.com/spoonsw388.html

    over 1.7K + S/H for 15" wheels....

Spoon can kiss my ass! I dont care how light they are! Anyone who buys these better have a full stripped interior and atleast 15K+ under the hood, then and only then could i possibly justify spending that kind of cash to save maybe 20LBs total over some other "light weight" wheels!

Spoon used to put stickers on their rims a long time ago, then stopped. I don't know if these are old stock, or spoon started the stickers again.

You're also buying strength. Ever seen cracked Rotas?
While a pot hole may bend both a Rota and a Volk or Spoon rim, I've never seen a Volk or Spoon rim fail on the track from stress, yet I've seen B18CXR's Rotas crack from on track use. No one should say that Forged Rims are not worth the cost, or you should have $X dollars under the hood before lightweight rims are purchased.

    Sounds like jealousy.
I was considering Spoon wheels and I don't have much done yet. But shit, dropping off 40 lbs on wheels alone of rotational mass = good to me. Your acceleration, deceleration, cornering, and braking benefit.

Do you hate on the guys with Jordans but wearing a 5 dollar pair of sweatpants? :p
Shit, I wear 400+ dollar shoes with 60 dollar pants all the time lol

find me a picture of a bent spoon wheel. that'd be a first. now find a rota thats bent or broken and i'm sure you could fill this thread up real quick. i'm trying to remember there was a pic of a wrx with a cracker rota wheel. all the spokes broke. not hating on rotas cause i really like them but just stating my 2 cents

Yeah, back in the old school. This is what happens when everyone and their mama is rocking Rotas and 95% of the people can't tell the difference. But weren't the old stickers white?
