LATEST UPDATE FROM CN's HEAD GUY...
"Latest development for Guardian is boost control by throttle position. We are new able to control the boost by throttle position. Meaning you can lightly press the throttle for 1 to 2 psi boost and hold it, or 5 to 6 psi and hold it and so on without going lean. The driver now has better control on power delivery, which is unusual for turbo cars. Most of the time it is on or off power but now it is variably control by the driver."
You read right people. A Turbo Charged K-series is now capable of having linear boost!!!!! Think about it! The ONE TRUE benifit of a SuperCharger over a turbo'd setup is linear power gains directly proportional to throttle.
AutoXers should be creaming in their pants right about now as well as those that worry deeply about FWD traction issues...
:D :D :D

Just wondering about what Gearhead Geek said about being able to tune the EP by programming for VTEC points and other tunning points.
Daddy Likes I want one now. But Will Honda be able to program the key to the Box?
This unit does NOT replace your ECU so that is not a concern.
Gearhead Geek & silver-Si,
I have NO CLUE, but since it is NOT a swap out replacement for the ECU I highly doubt it at this time. I will ask for you both tho. ;)

He would still need a Type-S ECU though, no?

Of course. This doesnt replace your ECU, but acts as a piggy back unit.

Yeah but the guy asked if he could use the Gaurdian as a replacement for a Hondata flash (at least I interpreted it that way). I was just pointing out that he would still need a Type S ECU to into which he would wire the Gaurdian, NOT his stock Si ECU.
Correct, if I misunderstood you, I apologize. I think we were thinking the same thing just saying it differently.Originally posted by danoonez

he needs a rsx-s ecu and guardian (if he wants it).
Even with a hondata flash he would still need a rsx-s ecu for an engine or head swap. you can't use the EP ECU with a headswap or engine swap. Flash or not

Actually aside from the reverse lockout solenoid you could use the k-pro hondata a3 ecu on an a2 swap.Originally posted by esmith13
