I was looking on www.optauto.com and was considering the type r side skirts they have for 550.00. Are these the actual jdm side skirts and if so how hard would they be to install on the 2003 si?

At that price they must be. FIberglass usually goes for ~175.00 - 200.00. OEM Type R urethane is up there (5 bill-ish).
Some people have drilled them in, others have used d-sided sticky tape. Personally, I'd like to know that a $500 + investment was secure.
Mel
the oem ctr are held by clips,
yah u would need to drill some holes to put the clips on your body. but id get them professionally installed if i were u.
its to much of a hasttle
I have a couple of questions too. I have JDM CTR side skirts. But i don't want to drill into the body. Should i just use double sided tape. But im not sure that it would hold good enough.
