    question of the noob

    hm..i'm completely new to whole MOD THE CAR thing
    anyway if u lower the car???it wears the shock???how often do u have to change ur shock???if ur just gonna go wit stock one

    Again, check out the search feature.

    So far, no one has had any kind of shock failure, but I anticipate to happen eventually. It's worth it to replace your shocks and springs at the same time to save on the install and repair cost.

    yup, what ssvr6 said. my shocks feel like they are going to go anytime soon. i keep bottoming out and i've never had a shock blow out before but i know what i'm doing to them isn't good for them. oh well these are just here to tide me over until i get a full coilover kit.

    so if you want to lower your car, just think if you go really low and soft you will increase the wear on your stock shocks by alot. if you go not so low and stiffer, you shocks won't go quite as fast. if you don't want to worry about the shocks get some aftermarket ones that were designed for a low car. or you can get a full coilover kit that comes with the shocks and adjustable height, neat. like this...
