u should be fine with that combo
yah man those will be fine...... nowhere near rubbing i have 215/35/18's and i had a 2 and half inch neuspeed drop with no rubbing.
You won't have any problems with rubbing, and I'm speaking out of experience as I've got the same setup as you've mentioned.
Here are some more pics as to give you an idea about the gap... I'm running on 17X7 wheels on Yokohama AVS Sport 215/45/17's.
Here's the front end!
same set up here
Hey Moose if your ever by Hardin Honda and see a White EP that would be me. Nice EP by the way!
Allright, but I think we'll meet-up this weekend @ the Block! Remeber!
nice ep moose. I know i'll be at the block
As long as you have a 45 mm offset or higher you will be fine. Anything lower and you may have problems
What kinda problems? I'm lookin for Volk TE-37s, but they only come in 40 mm offset. The closest to what I'm looking for are:
-17x7.5 4x100 bolt pattern 40 mm offset
Anything over 40 mm are on 5 bolt pattern rims. Is there anything I should know before I dish out 1500 for these wheels? I'll probably get these by december or january, but yea... Thanks :D
Where you getting these from? I work directly with Mackin, who distributes for Volk, , i ll be glad to help you out with these if you like.Originally posted by Acidburn

Honestly, i dont think a 215 45 is the correct size, i think you need a 215 40. How much do you plan on lowering it?
You may need to roll your fender a little but i doubt it will be much of an issue.
Nice, you got hook ups! I was looking online for the past month at several sites, I was gonna go out this weekend to visit some local shops. I thought 215/45/17s would fit well, cause some guys have that on their cars (on this site) and say that it doesnt rub. I was going to go for a 2 or 2.5 inch drop, depending on how it looks, but your more of an expert than I am - so i'll go with your advice and go with the 215/40. But, If I do roll the fender out a bit, how much are we lookin at? Also, can you get a quote from Mackin? Thanks docOriginally posted by DocofMind
