    Question side marker light?

    i just installed my jdm dc5 amber side marker and i've notice that it doesn't light up when i turn the light on, it only blinks w/ the turn signal. does anyone know how or what to do to keep the side marker lite.

    That's how it supposed to be.

    Side markers only operates when you use turn signals.

    If you want sidemarkers to be on all the time.
    Just spice wire to the parking lights.
    I don't think it's necessary to do that though.

    can you clarify i dont understand wut your saying ive been wanting to keep that light on...

    As designed by Honda, those lights aren't supposed to be on all the time. That job is taken by the corner markers -- the lights in the ends of the bumpers. They're there to make the front & rear of your car more visible, and to let drivers know more easily which direction you're facing. Adding more lights just makes things more difficult by being non-standard.

    The side markers (or maybe "side blinkers", to be more accurate) are supposed to only blink, like the turn signals & hazard flashers. They're there to notify drivers to the side & in your blind spot that you're planning to turn... as long as you signal, of course.
