Iagree with the painting idea.

1- You get the weight reduction...
2- People don't notice it (people meaning shady thieving bastards)
3- It is not so bad if you get a ding or small crack since you can fix it and paint over it again
4- Sleeper yo

I had planned on replacing as many panels as I could with painted cf, but that has to wait till after the new motor, turbo, etc...

Anyway, nice mod they look tight!

i live in a town that not to many people would steal them, and well you dont have to ride around with doors at all so why would these be illegal.look at a jeep wrangler.
