    Question 14 inches steel wheels

Anyone used 14" steel wheels on his EP? I want to know if there's enough space for the brakes.

I think a car looks cooler with little steel wheels... ;)

Nah... it's for winter tires :D

I know esmith ran 14 inch del sol wheels this winter, so I would assume they would fit.

I've got my 13 incher steel wheels for my hatch :D I kinda like seeing it stock when it comes winter time .. but it wears off fast.

I remember esmith's 14 inch wheels too, I don't think there should be a problem

Eric, esmith, ran 14 inch del sol rims, he told me that watch out because not many 14 inch rims will clear our front calipers.. but the del sol alloys will..

The Hx's will NOT fit b/c I have tried this already. The 14' steelies will though.

MOST civic 14's will fit, but not all. I have alloys but some steelies will fit too. But I can guarantee you NOTHING will fit in 14 except civic OEM stuff in 14" - and not all of those will fit either.

Mine are 95 civic Del Sol 5-spoke alloys in 14". I actually am still using them now. Falkin Azenis Sports are only $43/ea for 14". :D

I'm trying to get my hands on two 14" steelies for drag only use. If I find some that fit I'll let you know from what model they came.

Oh, incase your intrested - properly fitting 14's have about the same caliper clearance as a big brake kit with 17's - approx 5mm between the caliper and the rim.

    Eric
