    225/50r15?

Anyone running this size tire? I've been kicking around ideas for wheel and tire combos, and a low-budget setup would seem to be a set of Dunlop SP Sport 8000's in this size on the stock rims. Dunlops website and Tire rack both list the 6 inch wide stock rim as an acceptable size for this tire (range is 6"-8"). Plus I could always upgrade to a wider rim at a later date...

I too have looked at this size. The only down side I see is you may loose as much as 3MPG because of the added rolling resistance base on my past experience.I don't have this size on my SI.

You might try 205/55-15's.Same dia. as OEM,cheaper , no loss of MPG and fill the wheel well better.

Falken Azenis come to mind in that tire size, they are a smoking deal for summer use only. I've heard mixed reports about wet weather capabilities but they should be decent enough.
