Get a sportbike. For 6 grand you can get a really nice bike. I got mine for 7 and it was cherry (02 R1 with only 4k miles and lots of upgrades). If you hook up your car, it's still just a car that'll never touch a bike. Plus you'll love the sportbike scene. Get the bike, you wont regret it.

I say take that money and SAVE SAVE SAVE. For my HS grad present, my parents bought me 18s for my Pontiac (came out to like $1300). Guess what, a couple months later, my car was totalled and the rims went with it. TOTAL WASTE. Wish I coulda kept that cash :(

But if you HAVE to buy something, I'd say JRSC!

go with jrsc or greddy kit..

both arent that big of a dent on the wallet, are upgradable, and offer a good boost in power

plus you can keep the extra cash for college expenses

    tis what i would do...

If it's performance you are into, go for the sportbike. No matter what you put under the hood of the EP it'll still feel like a taxicab compared to the bike.

Hmm...looks like 75% are going for the forced induction. My vote is on the JRSC.

And all I got was a cd player...jeez.

Oh wait...yeah, I guess they paid for my college education, too.

Won't you be needing that $6K for University? Or College? Why not invest that money?

I'd say forced induction. Bikes are fast and all, but they will also kill you. Atleast the car has seatbelts and 4 wheels.. Good luck

$6000 for a high school grad present????? Man, I'd invest that.

$6000 invested for 5 years at a 4% rate (conservative CD [Certificate of Deposit]) will net you $7,321.00 after 5 years.

$6000 invested for 5 years at a 12% rate (some stocks) will net you $10,836.66 after 5 years.

Thow that money into an IRA or something similar and forget about it for 25 years at 6% and you'll have $26,592.27 to play with.

Mods or a sport bike will net you a 50 to 100 percent loss on your $6000.

    Just a thought...
