You turned the nuts the wrong way.
after doing this..is the gas pedal 'sposed to be "loose" like that?
1st few inches of pressing on the pedal is nothing...
yeah, once you tighten it, the pedal will be waaaaayyyy more responsive.
but for some reason, i tightened my practically as far as possible, it was realy tight and responsive for several days, but now the cable is loose again, and the nutz are moved over as far as they can go. Sorta sucks
so it is 'sposed to be loose?..
Well, I haven't done it myself but from what I read, the pedal is suppose to more stiff and way more responsive. I think you turned the nut the wrong way causeing your pedal to be more loose and less responsive.
no, the cable is supposed to be tight, sorta like a guitar string. you'll know its too tight when the gold pulley its running to/from starts to move. if it moves, loosen it up slightly (maybe one turn of the nut).Originally Posted by diab0lical
