    axis maglites compared to rota's

How do Axis maglites compare to rota c8's or slips:

    size 16x7

How do they compare? Is one stronger than the other? I can find much on them besides that some ppl think there ulgy rims.. I think they look good in the pic above. Maybe they loook stupid while driving?

I like them o.k., at least they're different. Besides, they're fairly light compared to others. I think the 17" are around 15.5lbs.

Mag-Lights only come in 15's and 17's, 11 lbs without tires for the 15's. So slightly lighter than the Rota Circuit 8's.

Mag-lights in 15's will hold the car fine, the 17's with lower profile tires would worry me a little with the roads we have here, but then again I would go with the 15's which was my orginal choice for track rims.

I think they look great, even had a poll on them a while back. Lets just say must folks did not feel the same as I did for their looks.

    axis mag-lite:
    Size

    17x7.0 - 4x100 - 14 pounds
    -
    Rota c8 16x7 - 13.5lb

I like the axis cause there not as played out as rota's.. But im just worried about them being weak and getting bent.. roads kinda suck in houston..
