    Removing Pin Stripes

When I bought my car from the dealership, they had pinstripes painted on it. They look horrible and they are very thin (maybe 3 or 4 mm wide; 3 of them). They are definitely not the vinyl pinstripes. They are paint. I was wondering if there is any way I can remove them? Dealersol and a plastic razor? I was able to scrape a tiny bit off of the end of one with my thumb nail. I just think they look horrible on my black EP. H e l p :[

That sucks man. I got mine and it had a nasty pin stripe with a little honda emblem and i told the salesman that i would not buy the car if he didn't take of the pinstripe so he did it for me for free and in an hour i drove off with the car w/o that nasty thing.

Yeah ;/ I'm very positive they are paint. The car was a gift for graduation and I've had it for a few months. I'm thinking of getting some vinyl graphics (a simple stripe or something) to cover up the hideious silver/white/red PAINT [frustrated] pinstripes. :/

I was thinking about going with euro yellow vinyl stripe to cover those (*@#&$ pinstripes. Then having the center console silver piece(s) painted to match. ;] oh the possibilities.
