    What needs to be modded?

What needs to be modded to make jdm bumpers fit?

Is it just the black piece(#1)? or the actual bumper(#2)?

Either call the place that you bought it from...or go to the website www.jdmhondaparts.com get the phone number to thier business, call them LIE and say that you need to know how to make it fit right. You could also ask the people at www.optionsauto.com Im sure that either of these places could tell you how to do it!! Oh...and by the way, when you find out how to it PLEASE POST INSTRUCTIONS, and SHARE the wealth!!!!

I'm planning on going jdm all the way. I was thinking of going with champ white later on, jdm bumpers, etc...

If it's just the black piece then its no biggie; I'll call optauto or jdmhondaparts tomorrow and let you guys know what's up.

It'd be awesome if I could go right hand drive, but I hear its a bitch to do. I was gonna get a crx and make it RHD but got this ep instead:)

Yes, its only the black piece that need to be removed. As a requirement in the states every car has to pass a 5mph crash with no damage to the bumper which is why our front bumper sticks out farther to accomodate the foam.

Just remove it and your JDM bumper fits. I suggest asking FiZZ about it, he has jdm bumpers.

That foam piece is a pain in the ass. The little nubs on it that hold it on the bumper broke off mine, I had to attach it to the bumper with tape.

haha, same thing happend to me when that photo was taken. I used masking tape to hold it on.

    EDIT:
JDM Honda Parts just responded to my email, they said

you would need to remove the complete bumper support

I'm guessing the actual bumper(metal) piece; which isn't hard to remove, just kinda sucks that you have to do that just to get jdm bumpers to fit.

if it does require removing the bumper support(metal thing), don't they have a jdm bumper support that you can purchase and replace with? i think that the 5mph foam cushion would need to be removed.
