It does look pretty bad in retrospect. I'll have my buddy take some pics with his DSLR and proper flash now that I painted the pillars, deck faceplate, and ceiling trim black. It's all a work in progress

I used Krylon Fusion paint, Lots of layers and lots of sanding to get a finish i liked. I'd suggest using primer before paint though to get a better finish with less paint. Also, the higher quality the paint is the happier you'll be. Model paint or any good paint made for plastics would work awesome.

yeah i have my dash done textured black and i love it. i do think the red headliner would look good with the dash black. but the red dash on red headliner looked like a bit much to me

I am sorry, but mismatched seats up front is just so tacky and produces a serious odor of rice.....LOL

I have always spiffed up interiors after a few years, new paint etc. BUT the majority of available paints, like Krylon and other rattle can products just look lame dick and scratch when you only breath on the finish! Well I started using a 2 part paint for doing engine and suspension components called Polane. It is a very tough paint that has incredible FLEX. An offshoot of this is a paint called DuraCoat, and is the coating of choice for me.
