    Tightening E-Brake Cable

I saw a thread on tightening the E-Brake cable to make the rear end lock up and skid. How many turns can I tighten the bolt before it starts to rub or cause problems. It says 10 turns but that sounds like a little much.

You can jack up the rear of the car and make sure the wheels don't lock...ie if they spin you're dandy. I did it, and didn't really notice that much of a difference even after lots of turns...if I were you, I'd just leave it alone unless it's really loose.

What the hell, which way am I supposed to turn the bolt? I turned it right a few times and now my e-brake actually seems a bit weaker.
