    Debadged!

Started by heating the decal with a hair dryer, then prying with a plastic gift card:

Then I kept the heat on it as I peeled the decal:

This is the goo that was left (got it off with Goo Gone):

Finally, after Mothers cleaner wax then Mguires NXT Tech:

For the rear, heated with hair dryer and used floss to cut through adhesive (two people is easier!):

This junk came off with heat, a bit of gift card scraping, and Goo Gone:

And of course some cleaner wax and sealer wax as with the sides:

This is pretty much all the junk I used:

Sorry about bringing an old thread up, but I figured we probably lost similar information....

I doubled up the dental floss I had. Broke it 2 or 3 times, but it worked out ok in the end.

Another tip; take your big steel watch off! A buddy of mine slipped while de-badging his pickup and put a nice chip in his paint!

Just like the pros. :) Just a word of precaution tho, be sure to take it easy on the cleaner wax. That stuff is pretty harsh but works like nothing else. Be sure to wax the area that you've worked on and that should take care of it. Zymol ftw :D

I can't speak from experience, but if you're talking about the one on the hatch, I would think so. I wouldn't hesitate to use the same method on my SiR badge on my hatch. The grill is a different story though (I think).

i suggest a hairdryer instead of heatgun, you dont need the amount of heat as with teh heatgun...just an idea...and i used goo gone on the adhesive, that worked really well also
