not to jack your thread but where did you pick those lights up and how much?
I have a set of 2004 Civic Type R Headlights:
...but I can't get the low beam bulbs to fit in the headlight housing socket. In a post earlier Chuck from Showstoppers mentioned that the current headlights in my 02 Civic are H4. The new headlights split the low and high beam. He said the low was 9006 and the high's were H1. But I can't get the 9006 to fit into the headlight. I'm using a 9006 (HB4), Sylvania bulb and it seems as if the circular base is just a centimeter or two too large in diameter. It just won't fit down the hole/socket far enough for me to twist it under so the 3 prongs/tabs are aligned correctly and securely. Am I perhaps using the wrong bulb? Can anyone offer me some advice?
Thanks,
Chris

the lows are H1's and the highs are 9006. You have to use an adapter to hook up the stock harness to the h1 bulb.
Wow, im a retard, didnt see how old this was.
im glad this thread came up, one of my headlights just went out tonight.
i was using PIAA bulbs, they lasted for like 16 months or so?
thought they would be longer..hope its not a wiring issue, thats such a pain in the ass and i dont kno anything about wiring lol
to be absolutely sure, the low beam is h1 correct? (04 ctr projectors)
