How to get white shoe polish off a black car?

I just got married and my groomsmen thought it would be great to paint my week old car with white shoe polish usually used to write numbers on windows when racing. When I made them wash the car, the big shit came off, but left little white specks all over the place that don't wash off so easily. Any ideas on how to get them off? Thanks.

maybe buff it out or try rubbing compound

that sucked. So it's mainly grease/oil right? Tried using a soap bar and rub againist it? If that dont work, try to use a claybar and see if that get it off.
