    rev limiter with K-PRO

I see that you can adjust your rev limiter to your hearts desire but in all of your opinions what would be the highest you could get away with on stock internals

I know the preset is 7300 but you can adjust it so how high do you think you can go safely?

They dont wanna be blamed for valve destrution in peoples stock heads!!! If you turn it up further, they can be like "well we set it at 7300" Its your own fault for setting it too high!!!

why not just check the site for the answer
    http://www.hondata.com/k20a3civicsirelease.html

    it's 7700rpm, I don't know where people get the 7300rpm

Anyway, as for kpro, go as high as you want, but I wouldn't got over 7700 rpm without upgrading the valve springs and retainers...at least

The rev limit on both kpro maps for the Civic Si K20A3 (high and low octane) are set at 7300. If you don't believe me download there software and load both maps

I wondering after all the engines that have gone on the top end with hondata if they thought it was better to lower it to the base RSX model. I would not do 7700 with out a valve spring upgrade.

7300 has always been the base rsx k20a3 rev limit.

It will handle 7700 just fine, but doesn't make any power at all so why keep it that high? The type s intake manifold helps the si in that dept.

i have krpo, and the n/a civic k20a3 maps are 7300 rpms.
the map i am runing with the revhard kit is 7500 rpms.
you can mess with the redline, but hondata must have lowered it for a reason
