1st to 2nd gear; weirding

Howzit,

I've noticed that when I shift from 1st to 2nd, it feels like im gonna fuck up the transmission. Feels rough going in. Someone said that most honda's shift that way. Its just like that?

Anyone else notice this and Is this normalage?

I don't know. When I shift from 1st to 2nd I get this weird chirping sound from the tires. Is this normal? ;)

Pull the shifter to the extreme left when you shift, it should help.

i have the same trouble..... with the second gear... if u keep it as far to the left as possible it does not feel as bad

Feels pretty good to me....I love getting stuck back in my seat. ;)

Absolutely:p

I have noticed 1st to 2nd could be smoother. And pulling it to the left as in the previous post does help some.

Mine does it as well. Congratualtions you own a Honda.... lol


All of my hondas have done this.

All my shift throws are nice and smooth.....can't wait till someone releases a short throw shifter.

I also experiance massive amounts of chirping when going from 1st to 2nd....I have been able to rip 3rd a few times also.
