I guess that it would be a matter of taste. I personally don't like chrome wheels on Honda or any other tuner.
chrome just doesnt look right on any car that is aimed to be sportier IMO
I say no on chrome wheels. Polished rims will be your best bet. It's your ride though. If you like them; Mount them and call it your own style.
Some of the most popular cars on this site have rims that look like they are chrome, like MoonSi's car. The rims might be polished but they look chrome.
I was reading around on the Internet and people are saying that chrome is easier to keep looking nice, polished takes more work. They also say that solid chrome rims are heavier. I think most chrome rims are only chrome plated anyways.
Also people say that chrome rims don't last very long because they rust out. And they say that polished rims last longer but are harder to keep looking shiny as time goes on.
I know some polished rims have a clear coating on them for better or worse. Sometimes you don't know what to polish them with because you don't want to destroy the clear coat. I think 1999/2000 Integra GSR twisted six spoke rims have a clear coating on them.
With the right car, and the right rims, Chrome can look sexy and make the car look complete. Heres a pic of my 99 CL before I sold it to get my EP3.
chrome is about as lame as big body kits and spinners (which are chrome usually)
the right wheel can make all the difference
screw those guys just get some of these....
