Custom relocate volt socket on dash

Not sure if this has been done, but thought I should share my volt socket relocation. It took like 5 mins to take off the specific panels/screws. But it took me an hour just trying to relocate/extend the wire harness where it wouldn't get in the way of the shifter. let me know what you guys think..

Sorry for the bad pics. Took it from my cell phone.

I had it all black once. I just think it's unique. plus i have a ssm ep so it kinda matches. plus it matches my shift knob.

I actually thought about a DIY after I finished the project. Just got home from work. Let me get some food in my stomach then I will right up a DIY. It was actually pretty easy (if you know how to take off the panels) it was just relocating the wire harness that was a PITA..

Sweet. Do you have pics you can post up? Maybe you can do a DIY write up for everyone. I don't have a digi cam, just my cell phone and it doesn't look too good.

I like the relocation. Now I have to figure out what to place in the empty hole where the socket used to be..
