a little off topic, instead of making a new thread, i was wondering I installed my coilovers and i'm fairly low, they weren't able to eliminate all of my toe in... is this normal? (maxed out the tie rod ends)

Im running DC5 coilovers with DC5 tie rod ends if that makes a difference.

Camber spec is -2 up front
    toe in specs: L = 1 R = 0.44

For the thread's sake; not slammed but just a contribution to go along with my question.

looks good man, i just really, really don't like that rear lip. it hangs down way too low, IMO. reminds me of this:

are you planning on adding sides and whatnot? i still say it looks better without any of that stuff. :D

I just ran into my vw friend and he said the exact same thing. I dunno, I got it for free and I do like it. The ass sits way too high without a lip on it and I don't like the fiberglass replica lips they have out there. And yeah I'll be adding skirts because no matter how low you are the way the sides of the car roll in you can't really appreciate its height, or lack thereof. Its like taking the skirts off an ek... It doesn't look right

The fronts don't go as low as the rears.

remove adjusting collars. that's what i did with my E30. they were sleeve coils, so i just got rid of the sleeves and ran on the springs.

theres no seats except the collars, and riding on one collar sounds stupid

i had two of my buddies sit in my hatch both 250+ pound guys and i was tucking rim, but when they sat on the front it barely went down at all

    • Spring Rate: Front 310 lbs/inch
    • Spring Rate: Rear 417 lbs/inch

idk, i like my height, might be riding on bump stops, im still running the full bumpstops from racelands not cut :/

    i hope those are 14's.
ditch the lip and lower it! funny thing about this car, the you can slam it on its nuts but the wheel wells are so big that it doesn't look low at all.
