i am going 100% custom on this. oredered 3" intercooler piping (thanks fico) off ebay and cutting to fit were i want the filter to be. dont like to suck water (cai) and dont want to suck in hot header heat (sri) so im doing my own thing on this one.

yeah im in the middle of it at work. as of now i need a 45 degree silicone coupler and get more aluminum (sp) welding rod and get the VC tube welded to the tube and it should be done. i also think that i need to move the fuse box back some more. ill post pics when it is done.

the Apex'i intake should be on there, it's still rated as one of the best filtration units on the market, especially if you use some nice thermal insulation for it.

I need to find the article, but in a UK intake shoot out, done on both an RB26DETT R33 and a tuned FD3S RX7, the HKS mushroom was proved to be one of the worst flowing and least filtrating intakes on the market, and the Apex'i was rated the best after multiple dyno and flow tests done between the two engines. I'll post up the article as soon as possible

I thought fujita is only 2.5 inches while injen is 3 inches or was the fujita and injen 3 inches and the real aem cai is only 2.5 inches?
