Agreed. Most people that hit limp mode after a hard turn have low oil. You need to check it frequently. If that checks out, run a datalog.

Oil is fine just checked, plus i check it at every other gas stop and i just changed it like 2weeks ago.

I just checked the sensor it is on good. My vtec is set around 4500 too. You can hear it turn on but then it hits 6k and bucks.

    Any CEL's?

Have you used Kpro to "zero out" the TPS?

My boy brought his laptop over yesterday and soon as we hooked it up it started rainin its ass off so we didn't datalog anything, But we lowered Lean Protection it was On set at 14.2. So we lowered it to 12.0 hoping it would help. (I WISH I KNEW MORE ABOUT KPRO) So i m on my way to work this morning goin 60 and give it gas in 6th and it bucks at like 3200, It's worse now. I baby her home on lunch break and put the stock Type R PRC ecu back in and she runs like a champ. Called Brady at CCC and he told me that it probably threw off my whole tune. He told me to bring it back and he could fix it. But for $350. Will it really be that hard to fix? When i get a datalog i'll post it up if anybody is willing to help

You lowered the lean protection into an area that is rich, of course you will go into limp and have issues.

Those numbers are in reference to the A/F, 14.2:1 is where it was set, and you only made the protection hit when the engine was still very rich.

I suggest you search out every little bit of info you can on Kpro and read that info at least three times. Kpro isnt plug and play, it is plug and play and play and play.
