Flow goes from PCV to intake manifold.
    How to properly use Apostrophes
The rev limiter is not meant to be used as a shift light

Good info. I just did version 2 to see if a catch can is even needed. Im only n/a, but im using a little oil between changes... so i wanted to be sure it wasnt blowby. 3 days and nothing in the filter as of yet... it should be easy to see if so.

Would direction matter on version 2? I see the filter has an arrow on it...

Yes, direction appears to matter on all 3.

i'm thinking about doing the 1st 1 but question, why does it have to be sitting horizontally?

It is because the oil collects between the filter and clear plastic shell. being upright will allow the oil to flow out the inlet or outlet.
FYI though, the second method I started using specifically because of this problem. Same performance, no worries on oil spilling one way or another.

I've been using the husky air-liquid filter for about 25K miles now (on my JRSC-R'd EP)... how often are you guys finding that you need to empty out your husky bowl?

I do mine about every 300 mi, it gets to about 30% full -- I don't want it to go longer in case the oil gets to the filter.

What are you guys finding with the husky?

I wish it had a bigger bowl!

Also, how are your rubber o-rings for the husky bowl holding up? My started falling apart some time back and I've been going without the o-ring for some time now. Hope it's not creating a vacuum leak! Everything seems to be running fine.

my o-rings were shot by the second time I had to empty the bowl, but havent had any leaks from it. i have to empty the bowl maybe like once every 1K miles
