Hey Chad I know this is an old posting but I would like to build a box like the one you have but don't know where to start. I have a 12inch Alpine Type R sub and want to recess it into the floor but don't know where or how you did that fiberglass molding around the magnet or how thick is the board you used? Any help would be great.
It actually just sits on top of the sub enclosure:
That sits in the spare tire via a fiberglassed tub:
And has piano hinges recessed into the beauty panel and bondo'd over to flush them.

Lets get a thread together of everyone's sub/amp combo. I have 1 15" kicker L7 and a Hifonics amp. Im runnin 1200 watts rms at 1ohm. Dont have it hooked up in the ep yet. What setups u guys runnin? Post pics too if u please.
