I did mine this past weekend. I ordered the honda plug from ebay and then went to lowes and bought a couple washers and a 6x20 bolt worked perfectly.
As for the wiper arm removal itself, I took a leap of faith and just put my weight into pushing it downwards and it immediately came off its grove system.
The hardest part was getting off the plastic pieces lol
It really does look much better without the arm.

On the old Ephatch, didn't we have a big discussion about how the wiper arm actually pulls off not twists off? I tried to twist off my wiper arm and it started to crack...
i did mine last week. and i just went to home depot and got a rubber stopper. shoved that bitch in there. and wala. rearwiper DELETED!

Well, the arm is threaded in by a vertical groove system. I would imagine directly pulling on the wiper arm would end with broken glass.Originally Posted by Twisted-X
Well, I got an adjustable wrench and tried turning the wiper arm Counter Clockwise (lefty loosy) and all it did was start to F up the plastic of the wiper arm. I put the wrench on the two flat spots on the wiper arm right near where the metal shank comes out of the glass. Its still on there, but I've been contemplating using a 3 arm puller. Anyone have any pics of the end of the wiper motor shank? I hate to bring this issue back from the dead, but I'd hate to break my rear window...:boom:

be sure to paint the bolt u use BEFORE you put it on.
if not it will rust till all hell, i didnt have any paint when i did it so i left it, it rusted, then i had to take it off n paint n put it back on.
i also added a lil bit of silicone sealer between the washer n bolt, for added protection to leakage.
i love how mine looks....
i don't really need it down here... c'mon i live in san diego.. and it only rains like 15 day per year... and all of them in the winter...
Red box is where you take off a nut that threads on over the wiper arm. Horizontally spiraling threads (like a normal nut/bolt).
Blue Box is where the wiper arm is *pushed* onto the wiper motor stud. It does not *turn* at all like a normal nut/bolt. Vertically splined, no twisting required/necessary. If you can't get it off by just pulling, rent/borrow/buy a 3 arm puller and save your rear window.
BTW I just ended up hacking mine off with a dremel
