That's a good looking shift knob. I say go for it.
I can't decide if this would look goofy or not in our cars. What you all think?

does anyone know how heavy it is? it looks like its made of cf, but it looks tight as hell.
carbon fiber it is. And, only $25 on Ebay. Real Mugen too! I'm gonna buy one and try it out. I'll get some pics when I get it installed in a week or so, whenever I get it in the mail.
What color does that ring at the top look like to you all? Looks gunmetal, but it may be the pic. Anyone ever seen this before that may have a better pic or some more info?
looks like polished silver or gunmetal on the boot
and thats not a real mugen knob, mugen only has one kind of knob and thats not it .Originally posted by dustinhurley

I noticed that too. But its $20. If it sucks, I won't be out too much. Or maybe it is a brand new design?
looks like this one! Wow Mugen makes the civic type-r knob as well!
doesnt look bad-give it a shot and if you have a chance snap a few pics afterwards:)
I contacted King motorsports about the shift knob and the boot. They say that neither of these are real. I was skeptical from the begining about the shift knob, but the boot really had me fooled, given the description on ebay. Oh well. I don't understand why people false advertise. And, shouldn't there be some sort of legal conflict with all these companies using the Mugen logo and name?
The description is fine, it's all about interpretations.
MUGEN BALL-TYPE SHIFT KNOB CARBON FIBER, NEW!
That type word is what saves them. While the shift boot is definitely fraudulent.

I hate fake stuff. If you can't buy the real thing, don't get a copy...get something in your price range that's good quality and has its own look. My $.02.
