    DIY: Cluster Removal

Tool: all you need is a small Philips screw driver

First, if you have a removable steering wheel remove it, if not tilt your wheel all the way down

Start off by gently pulling the top part of the black cluster trim

Then work your way to the bottom corners

Now remove the 3 screws with the Philips screw driver, one at the top middle and 2 at the bottom sides

Now pull the whole cluster forward a little and tilt I forward

And remove the 2 male plugs at the top

    And your done

Here is the back the bulbs

    Enjoy

umm my damn center light in my cluster just went out..so after 6k and up to 50mph i can't see at night lol so now i gotta do this lol.....and another solution for those who have kpro and that flashy green light, you could also just pull the steering colum cover off and unplug the immob.

I have the same problem... and so do 2 people that I know of, and What I usually do is smack the top of the cluster and it comes back on.

Now I don't have to smack it anymore it just lights up normally.

the SRS light isn't a light that's easily replaceable like the ones he listed. it's actually soldered onto the board.. so if you want or need to replace it, you would have to take apart your cluster, desolder or cut the led, and solder a new led back on.

btw i believe cruise control is where you labeled "extra light"

I need to do this. I have a light bulb on the left corner that sometimes goes out. I have to smack my dash for it to go on.

    Great DIY

Not sure I understand what you mean. You want to make the cluster brighter? Just turn the brightness knob. If not that, then replace the bulbs.
