how is the install on fog lights on the ep3?

i saw a picture of a black ep with yellow fogs and i liked it...and i would like to get some fog lights now..

anyone have the ebay fogs? hows the fitment?

i remember reading the post from the old forum about foglights. It was a damn good post and really informative. Hopefully the person who posted that still has the info and could repost it.

I do remember saying the ebay fog fitment wasn't bad, but the quality of switches were a little suspect. Someone did say you could get some RSX switches though

Its not that hard man. Ill try to find a DIY for you if i can. It was not hard for me. hopefully somebody can point you in the right direction.

i got the ebay fogs and they are fine for me. no fitment issues unless its the fog light button. its too big so im getting a rsx one. heres a pic. dont mind the nasty wheel gap. that was before my drop.

I had no problem installing. A dremel and a steady hand is what you need when cutting the inserts on the front bumper. I got the ebay fog light kit. Fits well but the switch just sucks @$$. Hope this helps ^_^

I actually just picked up the oem fog light switch for the EP3 from Honda. Heres the part number: 08V31-S5T-61035
I think I payed around $30

someone posted the oem install instructions before the database meltdown, after reading through it it doesn't seem that difficult, just plug a few things in, run some wires, the only part i dont like is having to cut the front plastic for the fog lights but eh what are you gonna do..

I installed the ebay lights on my white ep3 recently and it wasn't that bad. The worst part is trying to cut the plastic w/o having the honda template to follow. But you can wing it.

Also the light switch had bad fitment and the relay was cheap. I ended up burning out the switch and having to replace the relay with a good relay from Radio Shack. Might as well splurge on an OEM foglight switch or just go buy a cheap illuminated 2 way switch from autozone.

my relay was also cheap and my switch was faulty! felt cheap. just went and bought oem ones. mine was not from ebay

i have the ebay ones, everything fits good except for the switch but overall i give it a 7/10.
