    k24a1 head on k20a3 is this possible?

    I was told that the k24 head will bolt right up and there will be gains, and I don't need anything else is this true?

    haha you should get kpro to take advantage of the increased air flow

    Get a new head gasket for the a3 and use the k24 exhaust gasket.

    someone just recently posted up their dyno for their k24a1 head/k20a3 block. this was before the crash.

    i believe he made around 196 HP aand 153 TQ. jaegoon (or something is the one you want to talk to)

    He must have had kpro and full bolt ons and cams.

    Correct me if I am wrong, but an a4 head won't just bolt on a k20a3 will it? Maybe I am confused I know a2 heads wont just bolt on an a4, but it will on an a1?

    I am not sure but have heard that too. I know the k24a1 head will bolt up to anything except the k24a4 or k24a3...but i'm not sure about the k24a4 head.

    I thought it had something to do with the difference in the piston heads (a4 is flat?) and the k20a3 and K24a1 have the clearance for the valves? I could be thinking way to much in to this though!

    Oh I thought you were asking about the heads...to put any k series head other than the a4 head on a k24a4 you have to change pistons. Does that answer your question?
