Finally got her back and she feels great. I don't know if it was me driving the rental Chevy Aveo for 2 weeks or if the power is really that good but the car pulls HARD! I've definately never felt it pull like that...very happy with the final result. I'll try to post a members ride thread tomorrow.

I really feel like shit because I was in Chicago 2 weeks ago and I didn't even think about getting your number to meet up.

    I'm a dumbass.

On another note, those are some good numbers, are you really reving it that high? Dangerous piston speeds at those revs.

dangerous, maybe...foolish, probably...fun, MOST DEFINATELY!! LOL I used to rev the stock K24 block to about 8000K-8100K for over a year almost on a daily basis and no problems, this one should take 8500K (although I only plan on reving that high in certain scenarios).

No issues what so ever. Running very strong even after all the abuse I put on her. I've even gone to the southside a few times to see how she holds up

your going to have to let us know what it's pulling in the 1/4.

Put down some good numbers man.

Did you have any valve-piston clearance problems with the CP pistons and the k2 cams?
What degree VTC did you allow it to go to?
are you still using an A2 VTC gear?.
    What size head gasket?

No clearance issues at 50* full advance at high cam with the K2's.
    Stock headgasket.
    No times yet...soon though.

    Thanks guys

Very nice. I think i'll be ok then with my 11.5/1 cp pistons. and stock a2 valve train.

You'll be fine. CP's have some of the deeper valve reliefs (when compared to shelf wiseco's and others). I think even KME's would have cleared this motor. We clayed skunk2 stage 2's and there was more then enough room at 50*, those cams are more agressive then the K2's I believe.

Just curious, but which K24 block and crank are you using for your build?
