    sure your piston didnt just crack and a peice of it did the damage at 8500?

    Yea, I'm sure. The spark plug actually cracked and dropped the electrode into the piston. The piston was whole with a bunch of dimples all over the face of it.

    Thats not completely true. You can realize good gains with the stock A2 head, just throw in some cams. I do have a slight port and polish job done to my head though
