Wanted -> Pics of Si with 16's

Does anybody on the forum have 16 inch rims installed. If so please post them! For some reason I keep thinking 17's are overboard and 16's would give me a little bit smoother ride. Plus when I look at member rides I can't ever tell if the rims are 16" or 17".

Here's one from a member of another board that I haven't seen on here too much. Hope he doesn't mind me posting the picture.

Man for them to look as good as 17's you'd have to drop the car like 2.5-3 inches.

Really? I always thought that on a small car like the Si, installing some nice lightweight 16's, and dropping the car 1.5 inches would give the best mix of appearance and performance. I figured the ride on 17's would be quite rough considering how thin the sidewall is.

Actually 17" is not that bad, if you would go to 18" then the ride may become rather harsh. The Type R in Europe comes standard with 17" and this is the biggest you can go without changing the ride.

    Thumbs up

like SBC said, there is hardly a ride difference with the 17's but a big handling difference.

I'm gonna go with 17's but pick whichever works for you:)

Not only does that car look like it has 15's on it (which I personally think it does have). It also looks like it was raised by some Jeep springs or something. But hey, if that's what they're going for, then alright... drive a dune buggy.

Some times you just wish people kept their stock wheels...
