Going this coming tuesday, setting readiness and praying for a good outcome lolbump for an update
yeah! good luck and lemme know what your friend did if he passes
This is not the best way to do thing but before I had k-pro and a turbo I had a race header and all I did was disconnect the battery for a minute drive the car straight to emmisions and everything was cool they said that I had to come back because the cumputer knew that the ecu was reset but one of the guys working there said just reset it again before you come and they will pass u. Not sure if that will work for k-pro or not.
Quick update, emission passed. OBD2 turned on and a 02 sim. No cat no readiness set.
NJ isnt too much different. You get hassled more for tint than you do emissions. :mroll:
We have Visual, OBDII and Sniffer.
If you slap a heatshield on your test pipe/ RH, or if you have the test pipe that w/ the resonator, you can pass visual.
OBDII is simple, dont have any codes
Sniffer is usually good as long as you arent running a super aggressive tune.
Hey Kon,lharlem and 73 I think it was. Let me know when youre going over by suja. I wanna ride in your ep, I hear it pulls like hell!

I just went to emissions with my BCRH and i passed with flying colors. I had obII turned off and this is what I did. Went to my shop. We turned obII on and then set readiness. Disconnected from kpro and put my shops obII scanner in. Everything checked out as ready on his obII. Drove right to emissions. My boy works there so i passed the visual. He plugged it in and everything passed. Good for 2 years ya!
NICE~!! thats awesome what numbers did your emission show? can you take a pic of the sheet - just cover out your personal info
