Whats that color on the spark plug cover?

I'm looking at Silverstar's valve cover and I like the way the engine looks!
I need to know what color spray paint the valve cover is. Is it silver... platinum...Honda silverish platinum?

Also... Is there a way to paint the ebay strut bar braces to this blue color here? If so, what color would that be?

the Valve Cover, i believe, is JDM. if it is painted, maybe a wrinkle red.

as far as the strut bar, just strip the ebay paint off and repaint/clearcoat. not sure the color.

I used aluminum from dupli color engine paint for mines for the plug cover, pretty close match.

and for the tower bar ends you can first spray a coat of silver then coat it with transparent blue or maybe metallic blue to get that type of color.

I taped up the I-vtec label, and scuffed them up with green scotch-brite pads. I then washed them with dish soap, and cleaned them with alcohol and a tack rag. once dry, I re-taped the label, and sprayed on several thin coats.

here is the difference between the factory silver on the A2 cover (top), and an A3 cover with dupli-color platinum silver (bottom). the paint on the A3 cover is about 5 years old.

its not exact, but its close.

Its not exact but yea it is close. Probably not enough to tell the difference unless you are a real jdm fan. thanks for taking the picture .

I'm going to go with fushion silver since it is easier and there probably isnt much of a difference anyways like yours.

Ok about the lollipop blue, it does look like that. I asked Krylon and Dupli-color if either one carries it in their selection via email. I'll post the output later

That looks really good. Wish i had thought to try that instead of just buying the RSX-s cover and type-r plug cover.

I would see how much racecoated would charge to powder coat them that color for you. It probably would be cheap and definatly more durable than a rattle can job.

I didn't do any powder coating on valve cover (or) painting on sparkplug cover.
They're both JDM valve cover and sparkplug cover.
Photos may show slightly different color than original colors.

There are DIY write-up's painting valve cover, sparkplug cover, and intake manifold cover before the crash.
