    17x8 Offset ?'s

Well i once again will be calling upon the pros for wheel fitments. I am planning on upgrading my 17x7 Enkei RS-V's to something a bit wider. I am shooting for 17x8 in a 4x100 lug pattern.

I need to know what offset will work w/out fender and quarter modifications. I know it's early for me to be planning, however i would much rather do all the research i can before i buy.

I am looking for the lightest 17x8 you can find within a reasonable price tag. I figure maybe $400/wheel max.

Also please let me know what offset will work! I have a couple wheels in mind.

STX rules forbid modifications to fenders and quarters. So i am trying to find a way to run wider wheels and tires without having to do modifications. I can't see sacrificing tire width for wider wheels.

Because i would like to run wider tires. I am unsure what size tire i can run on a 16x8. I really am just trying to find a wheel that i could squeez on some 235/40/17's.
