i think someone posted a question like this pre-crash and i think the general response was that you are better off not running the front bar.... im no authority on this so maybe someone else can give a better answer, but i think thats what i remember....

stiffening up the front induces understeer.
Most people put the 14mm front sway on; Im not sure if its off the ep2 or an em. But yeah, i've heard a stiffer rear and the 14mm on the front gets the desired handling characteristics, as in back end sliding not the front.

I believe its off an EM/ES. You can have the front sway but you should have ofter springs/dampers in front.

I like the Progress rear bar with the stock front bar as a very good handling set up. Car oversteers plenty with the proper alignment so I don't see any need to go to an even smaller front bar.

I agree with Jw1 i also have the rear bar and have plenty oversteer, i think that the front bar would be good to neutralize if your going to the track, but alot of people here do like no bar in front. Idk if i would rock that.

the stiffer front bar would be good for drag, its generally not good for autox.
Id imagine it would induce understeer and possibly body roll.

I have both front and rear Progress sways. My car seems to handle pretty good with both, and I have stock endlinks. I definitely don't have body roll, but I do have some understeer. Once I start autoXing I will definitely unhook the front sway. I guess it depends on what kinda driving you do, if your taking crazy 90 degree turns a lot I would get a small front bar.

Stiffer front bar... Softer front bar... No front bar... Depends on what you are tunign for and how the rest of your suspension is setup.

Suspension tuning needs will vary from car to car, as what works for one person may not work for annother.

So, Before you decide to buy that bar... As your self, and try to be honest.., How is the car handling now? (oversteer Understeer when and where ect..) and how do you want it to handle...

Depends on the year and model...

The 01's had a 25.4mm bar over all the models, the 02's also had a 25.4mm front bar... except the sedans, which had a 20 or 22mm. and finally the 03's on had a 15.9mm front bar.

Though for the record, diameter is a poor indication of an anti-roll bars strength.
