Vacuum and armor all?
what process do you guys go through to clean the interior parts of your car, like the dash, seats, floor mats, ect.?
Top to bottom. I usually vacume up everything and then shine it all up.
for carpet and fabric...i use woolite, but be sure use a very diluted amount or it'll take you forever to get all of it out
i just use a water and rag to clean dash....and vacuum
My weekly interior cleaning consist of a soft tooth brush, Purple Power, Meguiars Interior Detailer, Wash cloth, Microfiber cloth, Mini Vac, Tint Safe window cleaner and paper shop towels.
Last time i found a roll of tape and used that to clean my carpet cause i was too dame lazy to go back inside to drag the vacume out.
Vacuum Weekly, Then lay down Odorless odor remover. Followed by a spritz of strawberry car scent.
Meguiars Quick Interior Detailer using a Microfiber Cloth (Safe for everything, aftermarket radio, entire dash/consol area, shifting boot etc.) Avoid using Armor All, I hate the chicken grease look and it attracts dust.
Production Car Care - Anti Static, over everything to avoid attracting dust. (Rubbing the microfiber on the dash creates static)
i remove all floor mats and clean the carpet with a vacuum hose.
i shampoo the floor mats with some dish washing soap mixed with water and go over it with an actual vacuum.
for the dash i use water/soap or meguirs interior cleaner and a microfiber towel.
for my leather seats i use meguirs leather care wipes.
and for the windows i use stoner's invisible glass with some newspaper (THIS IS THE BEST SHIT ON EARTH!)
man i reallly need to clean my car then...the center console is basically used as a trash bin. haha.
i guess this doesnt belong in my interior thread, but i use stoners invisible glass as well and its not doing shit for the water spots on my windows. any suggestions?
Yeah use newpaper in conjunction with the invisible glass, works wonders, you'd be suprised!!!
