How would this sound and work?

I was thinking of going with megan header, random tech high flow cat, and then sticking with the stock axle back.

This would be going with a JRSC in the near near future. Any thoughts?

Not trying to go for the most horsepower, just something a little less restrictive and as quiet as possible.

Best bet, Get a RSX Type-S race header with a 05-06 RSX Type-S ($190 brand new at a dealer) or 2.5 inch diam. piping for the midpipe and use your stock axelback, and you should be more then fine.

Get a Race header and weld the high flow cat on there. Best results will be with a race header, any race header out there will show better results then any shorty header.

True, just looking for simple bolt on, not looking for the best results. Just a little more power to have fun with.

Regardless, with a S/C youll see very noticable gains. Id say get KPro over any exhaust mod's or even a reflash with the supercharger in mind.

your best bet is to replace that midpipe and keep the stock exhaust
keep the cat and get a race header and have the cat welded in.

The stock muffler does a really good job in keeping the sound nice. It'll probably sound just a bit louder than stock.
