brakes squeek when not braking (some times)

Ok having something a little weird I think. For the last two mornings about 15min into my drive to work I am getting a squeek on my passanger side tire. As soon as I touch the brake it goes away. I thought the wear strip only sqeeks when you apply the brake. I know when I did my struts about 2 months ago and the pads looked good.

This is the weird thing on the drive home no sound at all. I have a 02 with 53K and still the OEM pads that came off the factory floor. Do I just need new pads?

My understanding is that Wear stripes squeal when your either not on the brakes or very lightly on the breaks. And the noise stops under heavy breaking.

I think my old mechanic told me this once (after I roasted a set of disks).
