Why is the first thread always on the last page?

The first thread is always at the top, since logging back in on this new layout, the first thread is on the last page, right at the bottom?

What gives?

we are getting alot of threads about how the posts are diplayed backwards and how to fix it

the fix is easy and it has to be done through your user cp

the instructions are
Goto your usercp - Edit Options - Thread Display - Set it to "Oldest First".

this will fix your thread display so that the newest posts are displayed at the bottom of the screen
