New Brake pads do not fit!

I went to pep boys and tried two seperate types of pads. Neither actually fit my front calipers. They were both too tall and would not slide in from the outside like hte oem brakes did.

I used Hawk HPS HB275F.620

and

EBC HB DP2812?2

I drive an 04. Is there something different about that year that Im missing?? These absolutely no way would not fit in. And it was not like oh you have to finess it at the right angle or anything like that... they plain old like pounding with a mallet did not fit.

i think they are giving you 02-03 pads. you need 04-05 or base rsx pads should work

ahh thats right, because the ep got the rsx suspension and brakes in 04 rite?

so I need to get hte part number for the base rsx? easy enough. God i love this forum!!
