    JRSC-r missing parts/help

I think I'm missing some parts for the installation, so if anybody could help me out, I would really appreciate it.

    here are some pics

as of right now, here is my list of stuff I know i need to buy
+injector clips - I remember seeing jimmyjames posting a site that had a wire harness, so no need to crimp/solder. ( link: http://www.cprracing.com/injectoradpt.htm) would this be a good idea or should I just buy something like these http://www.trackspeedracing.com/site...roduct/RCE-IWC

    +spark plugs - any suggestions?

    +IMG - handata IMG

    +tb gasket - honda

+catch can - probably the ghetto one

    +boost gauge - unsure

I'm thinking about upgrading to 3.8" before installing so i dont have to deal with that later on. Is it easy to install when the sc is already on the car?

Any other tips for installing this would be great. I had links for help saved under my favorites.. but as everyone knows they are useless now. My friend and I are going to do the installation. We have done my coils, edfc, I/RH/E, sway, headlights [pita], mm inserts, and other installs here and there, so we should be okay right?

    Thanks
    Charlie

Most of these bolts come off the intake when you remove it to install the charger.

the middle 3 bolts kind of medium length 2 of them look like they come with the kit. the oem honda bolts are gold in color in that pic

in the red circle on the LEFT is look like the tentioner bolt without a nut on it.
the Small red box is the wireharness bolt you pull out when removeing the stock intake manifold

on the left the Green circle the those 2 long bolts look like they go though the lower housing of the charger to install it onto the head.

the silver bolt with green circle looks like another mounting bolt for the top of the intake manifold. and on the right side those midum bolts in the green circle are for mounting the throttle bodie to the charger, your missing a nut. you should have 2 for the throttle bodie

http://www.cprracing.com/injectoradpt.htm works good, no cutting of the stock harness so I would go that route if you can.

+spark plugs - IK22s work good on A3 with low boost

+IMG - Hondata IMG will be to cool a little.

get a earth grounding kit too, or make one

+tb gasket - honda <- oem works great!

+catch can - probably the ghetto one <- dont buy this one

+boost gauge - Any will work.

Great thread. Would you mind if I copy and paste from your first post in order to make a JRSC sticky for future reference?

For installation you will be fine. I installed a supercharger after an intake and before rh/ex and was fine, just used the instructions provided on supercharger.com.

I did not see what kind of fuel management you are using. If you use kpro, there is no basemap for the 3.8 inch pulley i believe. And this is easy to install after the supercharger is on. If you use the reflash same thing, cant use with 3.8 inch pulley.

One tip that i have is to use double sided sticky tape with the 2 bolts under the supercharger, So when it is on it will be easier to screw them in.

Another thing to think about is the oil level in the supercharger. May want to replace that as well while it is out. 2 Bottles of supercharger oil at gm, no more than 25 dollars.

And i would for sure install the img when doing supercharger install.
I did not and no i regret it.

Goodluck with install, its really not to hard, if not sure ask questions.

Question for you, do you have the bottom locking nut for the tensioner assembly? It doesn't seem to be present on the pic posted.

Also, much easier to replace the pulley prior to install. If it's seized on you can use a gear puller. If it's on the car, the gear puller will not fit.

In addition, I have a 3.8 kal if you want it (use it for a baseline until you can dyno / street tune).

So i'm missing the nut for the bolt on the throttle body. I'm probably not gonna use the ghetto catch can because of what happened to jpax. Is there a retailer for cprracing? or can i order straight through them. I saw that one of their dealers sells a pack of 8.. but I really dont wanna buy that many.

I have kpro. I'll look into the supercharger oil, but what does gm stand for?

LOL, that was my s/c. Hey just an fyi, if you use a hondata img you need to get longer bolts. When i had the charger i tried it with the stock bolts and there were not enough bolt to bite into the head to make it seal. I had bad vac. leak and it would not run. Also, the gaskets were all replaced with new ones when i traded coldchillen for the turbo. Don't change the oil in the s/c, it was done and it's fresh and full. I also ran the tensioner without the locking bolt and never had a problem. Oh yea, one more thing, When i had it i was almost maxing the injectors out with the 4inch pully, If you want i would be willing to work something out with you, I have the rc550's and they are too big for my n/a setup. The 3.8 will max the 440's out.
