    9. issues with installation
bought kit used, so of course a couple problems...
tensioner assembly threads were stripped- had to have a machine shop heli-coil it
nipple on bypass valve was broken- used plastic weld to fix it
couldn't get lower middle bolt in- still not in

    10. issues with performance
none at all, car just runs a little better with 1 step colder plugs

    11. Any other information you feel is necessary
i bought this kit used, it had 38,000 miles on it when i picked it up, and it is still running strong. only thing that needs to be replaced at the moment is the tensioner pulley because it is squeaking, which apparently is a common problem
also i would recommend that you would buy k-pro with the kit and go straight to the race kit. the street kit is really only good for people that want to stay carb legal, its decent, but the race kit is where its at. k-pro works wonders, this JR powercard is total garbage and makes you run stupid rich under boost so obviously there is alot of hp that can be brought out with a good tune

    12. Which engine do you have
    stock k20a3

    2. Turbo or supercharger

    turbo

    3. brand/system (include relevant components)

    custom:
    precision sc34
    td autowerkes log manifold
    precision high impedance 65lb injectors
    tial 38mm wastegate
    tial 50mm blow off valve
    competition clutch stage 4 sprung
    oem k20a2 flywheel
    greddy intercooler kit
    guardian em
ngk racing plug part # 4091

    4. daily operating psi (not max figure for racing)

6-14lbs. depends on how i'm feeling.

    5. oil weight used

10w30. usually mobil 1 or royal purple. just started using q horsepower and i really like it.

    6. mileage at install

    i wanna say around 75k.

    7. current mileage

    86k

    8. dynoed horsepower (specify whether tuned or not and where tuned)

    318whp @ 14lbs

    9. issues with installation

nothing too serious. backing out fuel rail studs to accommodate larger injectors, dremel front impact bar to make space for intercooler, etc.

    10. issues with performance

sent a rod threw the block at the track on 15lbs in 40 degree weather. had to get a new a3 shortblock, oem headgasket, head bolts, and 4 new valves/springs/retainers. reused stock head. my guess is too much power for the a3.
various oil leaks from time to time. radials or slicks needed for any sort of grip in 1st or 2nd gear.

    11. Any other information you feel is necessary (full mod list not necessary)

be sure to do plenty of research beforehand so you know what youre doing going into it. work slow and methodical, and do everything right the first time.
the internet is an incredible too to help you troubleshoot and diagnose problems. always monitor oil level, and watch for oil leaks! oil lines should always use teflon tape, and be very tight.

    12. Which engine do you have (include compression ratio)

    stock a3.

    4. daily operating psi (not max figure for racing):

    5. oil weight used:
    Royal Purple 5-20w

    6. mileage at install:
    34,000

    7. current mileage:
    56,000

    8. dynoed horsepower (specify whether tuned or not and where tuned):
291whp 262wtq tuned at Fastlane in Houston, TX by st00pid.

    9. issues with installation:
Change those crappy worm gear clamps, switch them to some nice t-clamps.

    10. issues with performance:
With my GT3071R, full boost at 4400rpm. I dont know what it would have been like with the stock turbo.

    11. Any other information you feel is necessary (full mod list not necessary):
Just upgrade those clamps, and take your time installing the kit and get it done right. I am pushing 20k miles and it still runs great. I drive pretty hard and drive mixed city/hwy and get 25mpg. Cant beat that. RevHard kit was nicely made and fit very well.

No performance problems really, pulls great. I do have an off throttle and idling problem where it jumps from lean to rich, but I figure it's just the crappy emanage.
    11. Any other information you feel is necessary (full mod list not necessary)
Make sure to get kpro if you plan on using the Greddy kit. The emanage works, but I have some problems with mine.

Performs great. Had to upgrade tires. Fuel injectors are almost maxed out.
    11. Any other information you feel is necessary
Do a safety mod BEFORE any go-fast mod (brakes, roll-bar, cage, suspension, etc.). Get K-Pro. Do a pressure test on your charge piping before getting tuned, seriously! Get the best parts that you really want the first time around, and take your time. Don't drive like a dumb-ass in traffic and risk killing other drivers/pedestrians.
