this statement excludes the k24a2 right?

pros: torque, and price for the "lower" end blocks (a4/a1)

cons: i dont own one so i dont know, if others could chime in, not a simple drop in like a k20/a2

the weak rods go for just about all the K series motors. THe K20a3 I had broke a piston shaft. (LOL)

Not revving to the stratosphere and gas mileage. It is an easier swap than the k20 IMO. No changing harnesses or any of that shit...just one simple 30 second passenger mount.

You should really get a 6spd so you don't eat your mileage up. It uses 15% more fuel than the comparable motor...Ex k20a3 compares to the k24 a1 and a4. The k24a2 compares to the k20a2.

you dont need to change the harness for a k20, you can just run a a3 knock sensor

only con i can think of is the limit of high revving.

    depends what k24 your talking about (a1, a2, a3, a4, etc).

in some states, its illegal to have the k24a1 (CRv) in ur ep3 because your not supposed to have a SUv motor in a passenger vehicle.
