Yup, those are called eyelids and the ones you see in that picture are from a 5 door custom civic in Europe.

That's the nicest 5 door I've ever seen. Won't be long until you can get the eyelids.

Yeah I remember seeing tha pic a long time ago. I forgot about those eyelids! Thing is...it covers one of the lights. Anyone know what the purpose of that light is???

The only thing that light seems to do is lightup when you lock/unlock the car.

the top light is the driving lights...... kinda like the corner on the older civics... turns on on the first notch on the light switch & stays on on the second switch too

basically, instead of using 1 dual filament bulbs like they did on the older civics, they just used 2 single filaments (one stays on, the other blinks when it needs to, but stays off normally)

It is the parking light. You can probably get a vinyl shop to hook you up with some custom cut pieces and throw it on unitl some eyelids come out. I've seen vinyl on a few cars and it makes them look mean

That looks really good! I like it with the "eyelids" a lot better......the front lights are way too big stock.

I AGREE, We need eyelids.....How about those GTS headlight covers ? The ones that blackout the whole light......how would those look ?

That car is just awsome! The rims, paint(besides all the stickers), the eyelids the ground effects there's almost nothing i dislike about that car.
