Has anybody else besides myself accidently thrown the engine into the redline and had the rev limiter kick in? I'm always catching myself doing like 5 grand all the time. Although maybe I am still just getting used to my new ride.

Alwwayysss......the short 1st gear still throws me off.

Yup had this problem in the beginning, especially since I had the steering wheel tilted all the way down and couldn't see my tach. Haven't done it in a while now, guess I'm used to it.

I know what you mean...I have done it a couple of times racing my new 02 Civic Si...not to worry about it unless you do it all of the time!!!

Glad to hear I wasn't the only one hitting redline at first! That redline just creeps up on you so quickly! Haven't hit it in a while though.....guess I'm used to it too ;)
